As a contemporary romantic realism artist, I create paintings and drawings that combine technical discipline with emotional depth. My work is rooted in a commitment to beauty, meaning, and aesthetic refinement, while engaging contemporary subject matter through a lens of imagination and reverence. 

 

My personal history has led me to celebrate the natural world and explore the human condition in its beauty, strength, and fragility. My experience as a refugee has shaped my imagination and deepened my sensitivity to hope, freedom, resilience, and the quiet dignity found in ordinary experience. 

 

Although I work in a variety of mediums, including oils, acrylics, and graphite, oil painting comprises the majority of my collection. My process begins with an idea and an emotion, then develops through careful attention to composition, value, color, and edge. Through this formal discipline, I seek to create works that are both visually captivating and emotionally resonant. 

 

My paintings invite viewers into an intimate dialogue with nature and the human spirit. Beyond representation, each piece becomes a carefully crafted narrative—an invitation to pause, reflect, and experience a lingering sense of connection between the observer and the observed.
